On May 3rd, the North Derbyshire Chargers RLFC will be holding their first shirt presentation night when members of all Chargers teams will be presented with a t-shirt with the club logo to welcome them to the family. Please note that only players who have signed on with the club will be presented with shirts, though we hope to allow potential recruits to sign up on the night.
The event will encompass an appearance from Sheffield Eagles’ first team player Andrew Henderson (subject to confirmation) and Chargers old boy, Lee Sanders. There will also be a couple of short presentation from members of the Chargers committee and coaching team to talk about developments at the club and to appeal for more volunteers to join our programme.
Finally, there will be a fundraising elements to the evening as we look to raffle/auction a number of items including a free family ticket to a game of your choice from the Huddersfield Giants, a free family ticket to a Featherstone Rovers game, a signed shirt from the York City Knights and other items.
We are always interested in hearing from other sports clubs or businesses in the surrounding area who would like to donate services that we can auction to raise funds for the club.
